THE PERFECT EFA OIL BLEND
The trend of 'low' fat, 'no' fat, and 'fake' fat diets have been depriving people of the type of fats they need. Too much of one essential fat over another will cause a deficiency of ALL the fats. Using flax oil alone can actually lead to a shortage of omega 6 fats if you are not careful. Why? It is like taking Vitamin C alone. Other nutrients must be present for it to work properly. If they are not present, the body is either leached of the nutrients required or you are painfully forced to reject the key nutrient you hoped would help you.
Individual fats (triglycerides, cholesterol, phospholipids, etc.) all are responsible for the production of the precursors for every single one of your body's actions, hormones, tissues, and cells. Cholesterol is an essential fat that coats every cell in your body and that is another of the good fats (you read that right). You MUST also ingest another fat source called gamma linolenic acid just to activate your 'good' brown fat cells to burn away your bad and ugly 'white' fat cells too. Borage oil is a good source of this one. Think cellulite....
Cellulite is caused in part by margarine and lards which are unfortunately marketed as natural oils because they are 'cholesterol' free. Well, they really are not good for you. Drop these unnatural fats and all foods containing them from your diet then watch your 'bad' LDL cholesterol levels decrease, cellulite disappears and your eyes open. It is not genetics that made you fat. It is your EATING HABITS.
I used to recommend a combination of essential fatty acids, which corrected all these issues for you but I felt as the years passed, the quality of the source was diminishing. Lemmon's Oil is manufactured under strict supervision using an exclusive low temperature pressing (86 to 99 degrees F, 30 to 37 degrees C) and the processing and packaging (HDPE) is performed in complete exclusion of light, oxygen and reactive metals to maintain the life of the Omega nutrients. There are no additives, preservatives, bleaching agents or hexane extraction involved in the production. No trans fatty or hydrogenated fatty acids are in Lemmon's Oil. The bottles are dark black to keep the light out. The caps are the perfect size to use as a measure for one-tablespoon servings. We however do not use glass containers. It is impossible to block the light out using glass, even tan or brown glass. Rumors began that plastic bottles leak chemicals into the oil, but this is not true. We use Lemmon's Oil in salads, as a condiment on vegetables or meats after cooking and sometimes I even have a tablespoon by itself or on my cottage cheese.
