Each and every one of us has different cravings and while fast food is never the solution, each of them is a different signal that you are deficient in something nutritionally. If you crave proteins, have something healthy with protein in it. If you crave salty food, get some green vegetables in you. If you crave sugar, you are really in need of essential fats. Accept it. This is how the body works.
Foot the bill (accept the facts) and you'll fit into your favorite clothing in no time. Revert back to your old eating habits and I cannot be held accountable. As long as you can determine whether what you want is a fat, a protein or a carbohydrate food, you can literally continue to eat anything and scare that craving away. With the exception of what you already know is bad for you, practically anything is allowed.
If you want to have something you can't avoid mixing incorrectly (even though there are sugar or fat free versions available of anything you could possibly imagine these days) do so at only that one meal (IF you need to do that at all). Actually, I insist you cheat every now and then on whatever it is you may want. It will teach you a lesson you wouldn't learn otherwise. I feel like a sloppy pig when I eat badly.
I get gas that scares the neighbors. I get headaches and am a bear to be around. But it's your choice. Live how you want. If you do cheat, even by accident or in the event of an emergency because it was between deciding to starve or· Whether to eat anything you can get your hands on (which is rare), pull your car over, buy a burger at a fast food joint, throw the bun out or run to the grocery store for fruit, nuts or cold cuts.
In the future, always have food and water packed to travel with you nearby. And when you have something you probably shouldn't, don't go overboard. Try to stay within your calorie range for the meal anyhow and resume the program on schedule like nothing ever happened (forget that you ever cheated) afterwards. Whatever the case is, do not skip the next meal just because you feel guilty.
Take complete responsibility for the consequences of your own actions, learn from them and climb back on the wagon. Blowing one meal is no big deal. Book One explains the very specific times that is it acceptable to eat the stuff that got you feeling miserable without experiencing the pain associated with it all. The first step in the plan is to actually be able to afford cheating to begin with. Can you?
